ใช้เชือกเส้นใหญ่ยาวพอประมาณกับจำนวนผู้เล่น แบ่งผู้เล่นเป็นสองฝ่าย มีเส้นแดนตรงกลาง เมื่อสัญญาณเริ่ม ทั้งสองฝ่ายจะเริ่มออกแรงดึงเชือก โดยพยายามดึงฝ่ายตรงข้ามให้เข้ามาในแดนของตน หากผู้แข่งขันเป็นชายหนึ่งฝ่ายและหญิงฝ่ายหนึ่ง อาจจะกำหนดให้ฝ่ายหญิงมีจำนวนมากกว่าชายก็ได้ เป็นการละเล่นไทยสอนให้รู้จักความสามัคคีและเป็นการออกกำลังกายไปในตัวด้วย
หมากเก็บ
จำนวนผู้เล่น : จำนวนผู้เล่น 2 – 4 คน วิธีเล่น :
ใช้ก้อนกรวดที่มีลักษณะกลมๆ 5 ก้อน เสี่ยงทายว่าใครจะเล่นก่อน โดยวิธีขึ้นร้าน คือ ถือหมาก ทั้งห้าเม็ดไว้แล้วโยนพลิกหงายหลังมือรับ แล้วพลิกมือกลับรับอีกที ใครเหลือหินอยู่ในหินอยู่ในมือมากที่สุด คนนั้นเล่นก่อน มีทั้งหมด 5 หมาก
หมากที่ 1 ทอดหมากให้ห่างๆ กัน เลือกลูกนำไว้ 1 เม็ด ควรใช้เม็ดกรวดที่ห่างที่สุด โยนเม็ดนำขึ้น แล้วเก็บทีละเม็ดพร้อมกับรับลูกนำที่หล่นลงมาให้ได้ ถ้ารับไม่ได้ถือว่า “ตาย” ขณะที่หยิบเม็ดที่ทอดนั้น ถ้ามือไปถูกเม็ดอื่นถือว่า ตาย
หมากที่ 2 เก็บทีละ 2 เม็ด
หมากที่ 3 เก็บทีละ 3 เม็ด
หมากที่ 4 ใช้โปะ ไม่ทอด คือ ถือหมากทั้งหมดไว้ในมือ โยนลูกนำขึ้นแล้วโปะเม็ดที่เหลือลงพื้น แล้วรวมทั้งหมดที่ถือไว้
“ขี้นร้าน” ได้กี่เม็ดเป็นแต้มของคนนั้น ถ้าขึ้นร้านเม็ดหล่นหมด ใช้หลังมือ รับไม่ได้ ถือว่า “ตาย” ไม่ได้แต้ม คนอื่นเล่นต่อไป ถ้าใครตายหมากไหนก็เริ่มต้นหมากนั้น ส่วนมาก กำหนดแต้ม 50-100 แต้ม เมื่อแต้มใกล้จะครบ เวลาขึ้นร้านต้องคอยระวังไม่ให้เกินแต้มที่กำหนด ถ้าเกิน ไปเท่าไร หมายถึงว่าต้องเริ่มต้นใหม่โดยได้แต้มที่เกินไปนั้น วิธีเล่นหมากเก็บนี้มีพลิกแพลงหลายอย่าง เช่น โยนลูกนำขึ้นเก็บทีละเม็ด เมื่อเก็บได้เม็ดหนึ่งก็โยน ขึ้นพร้อมกับลูกนำ 2 – 3 – 4 เม็ด ตามลำดับ หมาก 2 – 3 -4 ก็เล่นเหมือนกัน โยนขึ้นทั้งหมด เรียกว่า “หมากพวง” ถ้าโยนลูกนำขึ้นเล่นหมาก 1- 2 -3 -4 แต่พลิกข้างมือขึ้นรับลูกนำให้เข้าในมือระหว่างนิ้ว โป้งและนิ้วชี้ โดยทำเป็นรูปวงกลมเตรียมไว้เรียก “หมากจุ๊บ” ถ้าใช้มือซ้ายป้อง และเขี่ยหมากให้เข้าใน มือนั้นทีละลูกในหมาก 1 -2 -3 และ 4 ตามลำดับ เรียกว่า “อีกาเข้ารัง” ถ้าเขี่ยไม่เข้าจะตาย ถ้าใช้นิ้ว กลางกับนิ้วหัวแม่มือยันพื้น นิ้วอื่นปล่อยทำเป็นรูปซุ้มประตู เขี่ยหมากออกเรียกว่า “อีกาออกรัง” ถ้าใช้ นิ้วกลางกับนิ้วหัวแม่มือ ขดเป็นวงกลม นิ้วชี้ชั้ตรงนิ้ว นอกนั้นยันพื้นเป็นรูปรูปู เรียกว่า “รูปู” เมื่อจบ เกมการเล่นแล้วจะมีการกำทาย ผู้ชนะจะทายผู้แพ้ ว่ามีกี่เม็ด ถ้าทายผิดจะต้องถูกเขกเข่า กี่ทีตามที่ตนเอง ทายจนเหลือเม็ดสุดท้าย คนทายจะถือเม็ดไว้ในมือ แล้ววนพร้อมกับร้องเพลงประกอบ เมื่อร้องจบเอา มือหนึ่งกำไว้ งอข้อศอกขึ้นต้องบนมือที่กำอีกข้างหนึ่ง
